There are people in our lives who give us security. Usually they are family--they are the people who usually are constantly there for us no matter what.. So that it is but natural that you put your trust in them... that in times of fear or doubt we need them to be there for us. We want them to be there.
We all have desire that people can depend on us sometimes. We want to feel needed. But as much as you want to give or offer help, you can only give as much... that sometimes it is not enough. Yes, you can give your support... but it doesn't mean that you are the answer to one's need.
You need to call someone in their family. This is even shown in TV... in movies or series (and yes, in real life), when patients will undergo a surgery or procedures, doctors or even the patients ask for a family member to be with them and hold their hands. Doctors can offer all the healing and stuff but they sometimes cannot offer that 'secured' feeling.
