Goodwill Games 08-09: Quarterfinals: Med vs Accountancy

Drawn by lots, the team Accountancy was our opponent for the quarterfinals. Just one game; the winner qualifies for the semifinals. The game was a little weird. Our feet and timing were a bit off. And I think this was the dirtiest game. They just kept pulling our jerseys or holding us when we attack. Shempre we have to fight back. Only that we get foul calls more than them.

It was intense. Wasn't able to count the number of attempts by our team but their goalie was really good.. She just kept on saving all of them... No goals were made til up to the second half. In this case, the rule was to extend the game for 20 more minutes (10 mins each half). And if no goals are made, we end up with a shoot out.

We resorted in a shoot-out which. We hate shoot-outs since the palarong med experience... Their goalie has the skills...

In the shoot-out each team has to pick five players among the last players inside the field during the game extension. The team who would have the greater number of goals will be the winner (of course). I was one of them (haha, mayabang na... sorry naman.. feel ko lang)
